A little introduction to the Skooled Zone
Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by. I want to take a moment and welcome you to the Skooled Zone. The all-in-one gaming channel that gives you tips, tricks, let's play style walkthroughs and educational factoids about the gaming environment as we play the game together. In fact, it's the educational factoids that are the highlight of this channel and what will set us apart from all the other gaming channels. Whenever I stumble on something interesting in a game, I'll stop to give you some quick trivia about it. There are so many things that gamers breeze past in video games that actually offer teachable moments. We'll go into detail when we get to those opportunities and maybe you'll get just that much smarter. And with some wicked gaming skills and a dash of humor, you're sure to enjoy a daily dose of edutainment. Video game based contextual learning you could say. And in addition to verbally giving factoids about things that come up in the game, I'll also be adding factoid pop-ups in post. Just more fun ways to learn a bit more about what comes up in the game.
I'll be posting gaming videos Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, I'll be posting a quick podcast type video giving you updates about the channel, things I'm learning about the YouTube community and being a YouTuber, and any other words of wisdom I can offer in a series called Homeroom Announcements.
As the channel grows and I can afford to do this full time, I'll expand into the weekend. For example, I'd like to do a short interview show on Sundays called Sunday Skooled where I'll get a chance to sit down and chat with famous game creators or other public figures in the education and entertainment industry. But that's a little bit down the road. For now, expect videos on school days with regularity.
I'll also be attempting to cultivate a vibrant trivia-based discussion platform down in the comment section that I'm calling the After Skooled Club.
Hit that subscribe button if you think this channel has potential. And be sure to let others know about the new kid on the block. Fresh is always good. And thanks again for tuning in!
